One of the books which have had the most impact on me so far. On only does it's story appeal to me, but it is written in the most beautiful language imaginable. My favourite part are the songs, which contain wisdom, strength, beauty and light.
I love the so called "Old Walking Song", as for me it gives a very simple but true definition of life.
The Road goes ever on and onDown from the door where it began. Now far ahead the Road has gone,And I must follow if I can,Pursuing it with eager feet,Until it joins some larger wayWhere many paths and errands meet. And whither then? I cannot say.

Wonderful adventure showing that friendship is worth more than gold & diamonds. Want to read it to my children one day...

I don't want to start a debate about how significant his work, but I will say this - I've read "IT"six or seven times from cover to cover. I will re-read it one more time for sure.
Showing the face of good and evil those not require special licence, it requires heart. So a kid can recognise what's right and wrong just as well as a grown-up. But unlike the grown-ups, kids haven't lost their ability to feel everything they see :)
I want to keep the little kid in me forever and so be able to eat bonbons and smile even when there's not much to smile about.
